He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Todd and Jackie Lee DuVal (O'Dell); his daughter Pollie Jo DuVal (John Logan); his niece Renee DuVal (Baby Aspen); and his grandfather-in-law Bevins.
He is survived by: his significant other Paula; his daughter Whitney DuVal; his grandson John Logan DuVal; his siblings, Scott DuVal (Lisa), Cathy DuVal and David DuVal (Carolyn); and his sisters-in-law, Jewell Worley (Wayne), Rhonda Greear, Nancy Wheatley (Wayne), Melissa Bevins and Suzy Mullins (Steve). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Homes - Wise (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293).
