She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "John" Stewart; and her children, Jimmy, Kenneth Diets, Richard Diets, Wayne Diets and Norma Kilgore.
She is survived by: her son Roger Diets (Stella); her stepchildren, Terri Cardon, Rebecca Waddell, Billy Cardon (Margaret) and David Stewart (Lesa); her brother Homer Sexton (Mary Lou); and her caregivers, Angel Moore, Molly Morgan and Clara Rose. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
