A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to "The Doorways", a non-profit housing option for family members of patients at Virginia Commonwealth University's Critical Care Hospital.
