He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Darrel Gilliam and Virginia Imogene Gilliam (Adams); his siblings, Darrel Lee Gilliam and Patricia Ann Osborne; and his close friend Dennis Mullins.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Gilliam (Duty); his daughter Angela D'Lynn Brady; his grandsons, John Phillip Denner of Gray, Tennessee and Ethan Dorton Brady of Gray, Tennessee; his brothers-in-law, Richard Duty, Randall Duty (Cheryl) of Bee and Rodney Duty (Brenda) of Vansant, Virginia; and his close friends, John Puckett, John McCain, Randy Mullins and Mike Mullins. He is also survived by Numerous nephews, cousins and friends.
