He is survived by: his wife Linda Sturgill; his children, Neakema Diets (James), Florence Sturgill, Renee Sturgill, Amanda Sturgill and Kevin Sturgill; his father Jimmy Sturgill; his siblings, Becky Thacker, Katherine Dollarhyde, Mary Barnette, Wendy Shortt, Linda Thacker and Jimmy Sturgill; and his grandchildren, Haley Kennedy (Camden), Logan Diets, Matthew Diets, Savannah, Landon Diets, Hannah Diets, Aden Diets, Everly Kennedy, Levi Diets and Nash Broskey. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
