He is survived by : his wife Kay Maggard; his sons, Samuel Steve Maggard, Jr. and Nicholas Maggard; and his sisters, Ruby Freeman, Delores Freeman (Coy) and Patsy Motz (Terry). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
