She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacey Sexton and Doris Sexton; and her granddaughter Brittany Nicole Williams. She is survived by: her husband Roger Diets; her children, Crystal Rainwater (Terry) of Coeburn, Amanda Rutherford (Shannon) of Norton, Mary Pigg (Michael) of Coeburn, Roger Diets Jr. of Norton, Thomas Diets (Amber) of Coeburn, James Diets (Neakema) of Norton and Jonathan Diets (Rashonda) of Coeburn; and her grandson Dakota Diets. She is also survived by four sisters; two brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Norton Rd SW, Wise, VA 24293).
