He was predeceased by: his father Creed Donald "Skeeter" McAmis. He is survived by: his mother Bobbie Jean Miller McAmis; his wife Denese Gayle McAmis; his children, Bobbi Marie McAmis Mullins (Jason), Tommy Joe McAmis Jr. (Rosiland) and Angela Donnielle McAmis Duncan (Aaron); his grandchildren, Dalton Jason Mullins, Logan Matthew Mullins (Tellie), Tommy Isaiah McAmis (Kaitie), Hannah Blake McAmis, Emmah Kate McAmis, Rylee Grace Duncan and Laura Abigail Duncan; and his great grandchild Brentley James Bolling.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Olive Church (9614 Coeburn Mountain Rd, Wise, VA 24293). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Robinson-Wilson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Mount Olive Church in his Memory, Mount Olive Church P.O. Box 1618, Wise Va, 24293.
