He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Albert Woodward and Flossie Hurt Woodward; his wife Lorene Payton Woodward; his siblings, Thelma Moubray (Kays), Floyd Woodwood (Mae), Claude Woodward, Ross Woodward, William Woodward (Eva), Russell Woodward, Clemon Woodward (Gladys) and Wayman Woodward; his grandson Ruben "Harvey" Woodward, Jr.; and his son-in-law Robert Dean Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Glena W. Garrett, Sherrill W. Deane (Danny), Queena W. Davis, Susan W. Houchens (David) and Ruben Harvey "Bugs" Woodward (Laura); his siblings, Bessie Shifflette and Leroy Woodward (Carolyn); his sisters-in-law, Lucille Woodward, Alice Woodward and Brenda Woodward; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Shifflett (Kimberly), Amber Renee Woodward, Bryan Michael Shifflett and Kimberly Sprouse; his great grandchildren, Holly, Madison, Christopher Shifflett, Zhaivonte and Zaijaun Lewis; his grandson Landon Shifflett; and his great grandchild Harper Noel Greene.
