With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice A. Blumenthal of Woodbridge, Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Mitcham and Sara S. Johnson; her brother Edward Johnson; and her grandson John C. Avera. She is survived by : her children, Claye Avera (Kenneth), John Avera (Sherry), Robert Avera (Monica) and Patrick Bodine (Tiffanie); her grandchildren, Ali Avera, Kendra Morrow, Kaleem Morrow, Deborah Avera, Oscar Alcala and Patrick Bodine Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Keiyz, Emma, Rayne and Orion.
