He was predeceased by: his brother Mike McDavid. He is survived by: his wife Irene Diveris; his sons, Ben McDavid (Monica Dionne) of Washington, D. C. and Joe McDavid of South Carolina; his stepchildren, Jason Weddington (Chie Weddington) of Columbia, MD, Adam Weddington (Heeyoung Weddington) of Catonsville, MD and Kelly Koster (Jesse Koster) of Dumfries, VA; his grandchildren, Misaki Weddington, Tomoki Weddington, Vivianna Weddington, Amelia Weddington, Kora Weddington, Kevin Koster and Ruby Koster; and his sisters, Pat Welker (James Welker) of Texas, Gay Nell Gray (Vernon Gray) of Tennessee and Jane Guy (David Guy) of Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
