He was predeceased by: his father William Howard Carr. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Ann; his mother Sheila Dian Carr; and his siblings, Cheryl Hauser (Lewis), Howard Carr (Zoe) and Lianne Mason (Gerald). He is also survived by 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and a great-nephew.
Dan was very active with The Charity of Spartan300, a nonprofit organization providing financial support for alumni, teachers, and staff of West Springfield High School experiencing hardships.
