Darryl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Mayes Jr. and Katherine Mayes; and his sisters, Deborah Mayes and Lisa Still. He is survived by: his wife Christine Mallory; his children, Darryl Durham, Christian and Taylor; his siblings, David Boozer Sr. (Carolyn), Leslie Campbell (Robert), Tracey Mitchell, Kim Brown and Celeste "Judy" Mallory; and his aunt Mary Lively. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvest Life Church (14401 Telegraph Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
