He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Richard Ritenour (Dick) and Hester May Ritenour; his brothers, Harold Lee and Eugene Carson; his former wife Rosalie Bonner Ritenour; and his daughters, Denise Hammond (David), Pamela Storrs (James), Angela Clark (Chris), Melody Coughenour and Teresa Bellanger (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Deborah DeMarco Ritenour (Deb). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (14999 Birchdale Ave, Dale City, VA 22193).
