With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marian Scharp of Woodbridge, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marty Phillips and Vienna Phillips; her sister Margie Delap; and her son Patrick Scharp. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her daughters, Pam (Jim Poulos) and Brenda (Mike Murphy); her granddaughters, Brittney (James Bryan), Cassandra Poulos, Samantha (Chris Orrell) and Dr. Sarah (Nick Newbold); and her great grandchildren, Emma, Cora and Cassian.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society in her memory.
