She is survived by: her daughter Michele Gholson; her grandchildren, Bria Gholson-Parham and Bryce Gholson-Parham; her great grandchild Kamiya Gholson-Parham of Dinwiddie, VA; her sister Evelyn Johnson (Ivan) of Dinwiddie, VA; her sibling's children, William Dabney, Jr. of Dinwiddie, VA, Latour Dabney (Charlotte) of North Dinwiddie, VA, Charles Dabney, Jr. of Dinwiddie, VA, Melissa Carmichael of Pikeville, NC, Jeffrey Johnson (Gwendolyn) of Petersburg, VA, Calvin Johnson (Charlene) of Petersburg, VA and Emmanuel Dabney of Dinwiddie, VA.; her sisters-in-law, Fannie R. Dabney of Dinwiddie, VA. and Mary Dabney of Dinwiddie, VA.; Ibraheem Kargbo and Sarah Kargbo. She is also survived by numerous grand nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Petersburg Chapel (530 S Sycamore St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Olive Branch Baptist Church (11119 Boydton Plank Rd, Dinwiddie, VA 23841). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Dabney Family Cemetery (9615 Boisseau Rd, Sutherland, VA 23841).
