We announce the death of Stanley Phillip Hummer of Woodbridge, Virginia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 81. Stanley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Hummer and Ione Hummer. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Hummer; his daughter Kelly Roth; his son-in-law Bob Roth; his son Chris Hummer; his daughter-in-law Lina Hummer; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Hunter and Hannah.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Dementia Society of America (dementiasociety.org) in Stan's memory.
