She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Lee Wilson and Van Wilson Sr.; and her siblings, Van "Bud" Wilson Jr., Leamon "Pete" Wilson, Marvin "Dee Dee" Wilson, Delores "Sweet" Wilson, Geraldine "Gerry" Dunn, Mattie Lou Willouhby, Barbara "Tut" Perry and Peggy Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, Shayvonne Turner and Akai Wilson; her brother Leo "Buck" Wilson; her grandchildren, Shaynisha "Du Du" Dunbar, Nigeria "Meh Meh" Turner, DeAndré "Suga-Boo" Hines, DeAuna "Mommi" Philip and Starr Barrino; and her great grandchildren, Brielle "Meh Meh" Jenkins, Jordan "Papa" Jenkins, Jaxston Rainey, Aryanna Rainey, Khilyn Rainey, Giano Rainey, Luxston Rainey and Kashton Rainey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, former patients, friends.
