He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Will Smith and Lottie Simms Smith; his brothers, Percy J. Smith (Bernice), Arthur "Randolph" Smith and Linwood "Earl" Smith; his brother-in-law William Gray; and his nephew Michael N. Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Rita White Smith of Woodford; his son Ryan O. Smith (Yamilia) of Chesterfield, Virginia; his sister Mimie V. Gray of Ruther Glen, Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Trina White of Spotsylvania, Carolyn Smith of Woodford Virginia, Marcella Smith of Woodford, Virginia, Jamie White (Carol) of Richmond, Corey White (India) of Fluvanna and Tyson White of Spotsylvania, Virginia; his goddaughter Tracey Brown of Ruther Glen; and his close friends, Robert Brown of Fredericksburg, Virigina and Gary Boone of Ruther Glen, Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews cousins and many friends.
