She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Thomas and Helen Edwards; her husband Edmond Denis Bond, Jr.; and her siblings, Rex Edwards, Icy Bell and Lou Bryant.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Bond (Jonda) and Bradley Bond (Shelby); her stepsons, Daniel Harris and Phillip Harris; and her siblings, Wayne Edwards and Ester Edwards. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel (1035 N Main St, Hillsville, VA 24343). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Surratt Cemetery (1393 State Rd 768, Hillsville, VA 24343).
