It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zella Robinson Lineberry of Woodlawn, Virginia, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Robinson and Lillie Robinson; and her grandsons, Jeff "Bondo" Lineberry and James W. Shanks III. She is survived by: her husband Vinton B. Lineberry; her daughter Ruby Chappell; her granddaughter Cheryl Shanks (Charlie); her granddaughter-in-law Lisa Lineberry; her grandsons, Robert Lineberry, Steven Lineberry, Donnie Lineberry, Ronnie Lineberry and Vernon Lineberry; her great grandchildren, Courtney "Kortni" Painter (Blake), Victoria Shanks (Ben), April Lineberry (Tyler), Shelby Sowers (Anthony), Abigail Lineberry and Elizabeth Alexander (Jay); and her great great grandchildren, Zella-Grace Painter, Ila Mabe, William Mabe, Lane Joyce, Harrison Alexander and Zella Jean Alexander. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
