She was predeceased by: her parents, James David Peer and Grace Hisey Peer; her stepmother Maude Kibler Peer; her brother Allen Hollis Peer Sr.; and her aunt Marguerite Hisey Marshall.

She is survived by: her nieces, Beverly Peer of Virginia and Elizabeth Peer Fraim of Norfolk, VA.; her nephew Allen Hollis Peer Jr. of Woodstock, VA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Meghann Eastham, Annie Bosse, Catherine Kelley, Katie Cline, Sarah Peer, Allen Hollis Peer III, David Fraim and Richard Fraim; David Kelley and Evelyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock, VA in honor of Evelyn and her love for Jesus.
