It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeremiah Rush of Woodstock, Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Rush and Frances Mumaw; and his siblings, Donald Rush, Patsy Lavender and Shelby Reedy.
He is survived by: his wife Letha Rush; his daughters, Lora Turner (Joey) and Kim Hoover (Hank); his grandchildren, Whitney (Evan), Cecily (Mike), Wesley Yankey, Hank Hoover Jr. and Ramsey Hoover; his great great grandchildren, Kaylee, Savanah, Bella, Penelope, Madison, Baer, Rhett, Cora, Kollyns and Cade; and his siblings, Phyllis Barb, Mary-Ellen Wendel, Audrey Speelman, Alfred Rush, Lyvonne Oliver and Sandra Seale.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Antioch Church (23502 Senedo Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664).
