She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Lee Cook; her parents, Marvin William and Mary Romick Wright; and her brothers, James Wright, Richard "Dick" Wright, Marvin "Junior" Wright, Jr., Donald Wright, Jerry Wright, Jack Wright, Wayne Wright and Kenneth "Pete" Wright.
She is survived by: her daughter Karla Cook Thomas (Dennis W. Thomas) of Maurertown; her stepgrandson Matthew A. Thomas (Diana); and her sisters, Elizabeth "Becky" Lytton and Mary Lou Odum.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset View Memorial Gardens (2677 Fravel Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664).
