He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch McDaniel and Viola Searcy McDaniel; his wife Nancy Kelley McDaniel; his daughter Brenda Ann McDaniel; and his siblings, Lottie, Ann, Dolan, Sue, Paula, Carl, Albert and Nolan.
He is survived by: his children, Robin McDaniel, Wayne Wesley McDaniel Jr. and Penny Shipe; his grandsons, Matthew, Michael, Josh, Chad and Gary Wayne; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Austin, Makenna, Jacob, Nancy, Isabella, Aiden, Avery and Adalyn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Woodstock Moose Lodge #575 (152 Moose Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664).
