He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Boyd Wells, Jr. and Katherine Kelberer; and his sister Linda Sue Wells. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Lou Dough Wells; his children, Traci Sims (Curtis) of Woolwine and Raymond Boyd Wells, IV (Susan) of Charity; his grandchildren, Jacob Sims (Dianne), Jerry Wells (Ashley) and Zander Wells (Teddy Jo Boatman); and his friend Marvin Elgin of Woolwine. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171).
