She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund Pendleton, Jr. of Wytheville; her parents, James Stuart Massey and Katharine Tinder Massey; and her sister Theo Harris Massey. She is survived by: her children, Edmund Stuart (Laura Harris Pendleton), William (Sue Hester Pendleton) and Elizabeth (Jack Igelman); and her grandchildren, Edmund Harris Pendleton, Margaret Elizabeth Pendleton, Wyatt Hester Pendleton, Isabel Massey Pendleton, Henry Stuart Igelman and Jonah Pendleton Igelman.
