With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Andrew Kast of Wytheville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 55. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kast Sr. and Wanda Cordell Kast. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Elledge Kast; his children, Jarren Gud, Desiree Locke (Jett) and Ariel Kast; his grandchildren, Violet Peaton, Aaliayah Ritz, Dylan Gud and Adeline Locke; his great grandchild London Ritz; and his siblings, Richard Kast (Jody), Mark Kast (Marie), Eric Kast (Michelle), MaDonna Overstreet (Rick) and Anita Kast Weber. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kendall Funeral Home (605 Snidow St, Pembroke, VA 24136). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Angels Rest Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kendall Funeral Home (605 Snidow St, Pembroke, VA 24136).
