With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Mildred Kirk of Wytheville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Neal Patrick and Ruth Griffitts Patrick; her sister Barbara Ann Patrick; and her husband Alexander Dean Davis Kirk. She is survived by: her children, Davis Patrick Kirk of Wytheville, VA, Deanna Kirk (Daniel Earl Mabe) and Erin Kirk (Robert Andrew Hallman); her sister-in-law Helen Kirk Boone of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Jason Patrick Kirk, Kara Elizabeth Kirk, Taylor Mabe Ferguson, Avery Kirk Mabe, Travis Steven Hallman, Kayla Michelle Hallman, Hunter Dean Henderlite, Jessica Leigh Hallman, Reagan Davis Henderlite and Colin Samuel Hallman; and her great grandchildren, Emmett Roy Ferguson, Dean Daniel Ferguson, Hayes Baker Hallman, Brooks Brady Hallman and Baby Ferguson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ceres High School Alumni Association, West End Methodist Church in Wytheville, or Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia.
