Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chimer Davis Moore, Sr. and Hazel Hornbarger Moore of Wytheville. He is survived by: his wife Alice Blair Moore; his brother Chimer Davis "Day" Moore (Nancy); his daughters, Ann Moore and Ellen Moore Bansemer (John); and his grandchildren, Katherine, Emil and Phillip. He is also survived by nephew and three nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (330 Church St, Wytheville, VA 24382). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
