He was predeceased by: his parents, Kilby Anders and Lou Jean Hampton Anders; his siblings, Gene Anders, Rex Anders, Phyllis Anders Calloway and Pamela Anders Testerman; and his grandson Gannon Reed Anders.
He is survived by: his wife Gena Boyer Anders; his children, Cari Anna Anders Mahan (Allen) of Wytheville, Thomas Mitchell "Mitch" Anders (Mary Lee) of Wytheville and Mary Suzanne "Molly" Anders Dalton (Kevin) of Wytheville; his grandchildren, Grant Mitchell Anders, Caleb Allen Mahan (Micala), Grayson Anders Robertson (Bailey), Camden Anders Mahan (Liz), Morgan Reid Dalton, Carrie Sage Dalton and Knox O'Neal Dalton; and his sister Charlotte Anders Bolt of Independence. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
