We announce the death of Alma Pauline Furby (Yorktown, Virginia), who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 77. Alma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Richmond Sr. and Ruth Ella Richmond; and her brothers, Roy Lee Richmond, Arthur Van Richmond, Percy Richmond Jr. Hardy Darnell (Julie) and James Richmond (Bonnie).

She is survived by: her siblings, Carmen R. McMillian (James), Otis L. Richmond Sr. (Earline), Roderick Richmond (Valerie), Reginald L. Richmond Sr. (Lori) and Charles R. Richmond; her sisters-in-law, Ann Savage, Christine Mcbride, Paulette Sedgwick and Edith Perrin; her husband Arthur "Bunny" R. Furby Jr.; and her children, Michael L. Furby (Sonya) and Katina E. Furby.
