She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Dawson and Arnetia Dawson; her daughter Jenelda Stratton; her granddaughter Amy Stratton Salotti; and her stepgranddaughter Anne Niehous.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Coppa Stinson (Bruce); her siblings, Wallace Dawson (Bonnie), Marylee Dawson and Ginny Dawson Sekula (Dave); her grandchildren, A. J. Coppa IV (Alaina) and Adam Coppa; her great grandchildren, Anthony Coppa V, Lucy Coppa, Owen Salotti and Greyson Salotti; and her stepdaughters, Sharon, Nancy, Pam (Pollard) and Linda Nunnally (Connell).
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Northside Christian Church (1300 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, VA 23693).
