He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shelma Garretson Hart; his children, Randall Hart and Carla Bailey (Brian); his grandchildren, Jordan Bailey (Kelsie), Olivia Dillon, Heather Emerson (Chase) and Morgan Hart; his great grandchildren, Levi Emerson, Colt Bailey, Landon Bailey, Halle Emerson, Beau Dillon, Reid Bailey, Gunner Dillon and Nash Dillon; his siblings, Joy Hatcher, Jim Hart (Nora), Aubrey Hart (Janet), Carroll Elaine Jones and Randall Hart (Bobbie); his parents, Luther McKinley and Mary Jane Hart; his brother Robert Hart; his son Carl Edward Hart Junior; and his siblings, Earl Hart, Roger Hart, Beulah Peery, Janis Whitenack and Connie Michalek.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Amory Funeral Home (410 Grafton Dr, Yorktown, VA 23692).
