He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norwegian Eskedahl (Kolbjorn Saether) and Emily Eskedahl; and his wife Anne Racel. He was also cherished by his sister and half-sister, two nieces, four stepchildren and two step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his honor to the American Civil Liberties Union or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
