He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Parsons and Sadie Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Mildred R. Parsons; his children, Valerie Gudorf, Fay Edmondson and John Parsons, Jr.; his grandchildren, Michael Edmondson, Nicole Edmondson Williams, Adam Gudorf and Laura Gudorf; and his brothers, Oscar Parsons and Douglas Parsons.
