She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Marshall O. Johnson and Lula White Johnson of Martinsville, VA; and her grandparents, Lorenzo C. White and Bessie Jones White (Hampton). She is survived by: her sister Marsha Johnson Edlow; her niece Martia L. Edlow Cordell (Garrett); her great-niece Harper Avery Cordell; and her cousin Alison Hall.
