She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nicholas Barba and Floy Clark Barba; her husband Stewart Irwin; her children, Stewart Irwin, Jr. (Ruth Ann), Barbara Love (John), Donna Catalano (Albert), Susan Davis (Scott), Kelly Kranz (Kevin), Andrew Irwin (Natalie) and David Irwin (Jamie); and her brother Nicholas Barba (Carol Lee). She was also cherished by 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Memorial may be made to the Horton Wreath Society, PO Box 6246, Virginia Beach, VA 23456-0246 for the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
