He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ann Shields (Kendle); his son Branden Lee Shields (Jessica Kyger); his mother Patsy Ruth Anderson Shields; and his siblings, James Edward, Michael Kevin, John Joseph, David Archer and Laura Leigh Godwin.
