She is survived by: her husband Lester Capel; her daughters, Latoshia Capel and Paquita Scott; her siblings, Alester Carpenter, Steven Carpenter, Shannon Ward and Pamela Jackson; and her mother-in-law Ada Capel of Biscoe. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; and a huge military family and friends.
