He is survived by: his wife Dolores Banks-Atkins; his children, Floyd Obidiah Atkins, Cassandra Atkins and Stephanie Williams; his grandchildren, Derrick Williams, Jalen Atkins and Kamryn Williams; his children, Danielle, Dionne, Destiny (Isiah) and Dakota; and his siblings, Thomas Atkins, Nellie Turpin, Shirley Wells, Shelia Cotman and Wilhelmina Greene (James). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whiting's Funeral Home (7005 Pocahontas Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Washington Memorial Park - Sandston (6217 Memorial Dr, Sandston, VA 23150).
