Priscilla Woodson Rose Obituary
We announce the death of Priscilla Woodson Rose (Yorktown, Virginia), who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 83. Priscilla will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Woodson and Zelda Woodson; and her son Doug Rose. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Idol (Dennis) and Christy Echols (Doug); her daughter-in-law Kim Rose; her sisters, Betty Jo Stickrod and Sandra Grindstaff (Larry); her grandchildren, Morgan Idol, Logan Idol (Allie), Marissa Idol, Ashley Rose, Aaron Rose, Kayla Mazur (Joe) and Alyssa Guthinger (D. J.); and her great grandchildren, Kinsley and Ashlyn Guthinger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (1004 Yorktown Rd, Yorktown, VA 23693). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Southlawn Memorial Park (1911 Birdsong Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
