He is survived by: his wife Dora Wiggins Vaughan; his children, Chandra Lenay Vaughan and Antonio Payne; and his siblings, Janet Richardson, Elaine Vaughan, Evelyn Vaughan, Minnie Vaughan and Joseph Vaughan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephew.
