He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles LaBatt and Irene LaBatt (Smith); and his siblings, Shirley Etue and Edward LaBatt. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline of Arlington, VT; his children, Lisa Prosper (James) of Arlington, VT, Mitzi Bianchi (Carl) of Glenmont, NY, Earl C. LaBatt, Jr. (Noreen) of Merrimack, NH, Thomas LaBatt (Amber) of St. Leonard, MD, John LaBatt (Tami) of Valatie, NY and David LaBatt (Meredith) of Brunswick, NY.; and his sister Nancy Hoffman of Rutland, VT. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home (4596 Vermont Rte 7a, Arlington, VT 05250). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis de Sales Church (238 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the West Arlington Cemetery.
