It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Putnam (Arlington, Vermont), who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Reed, Sr. and Geneva Felion; her husband Harold Putnam; and her siblings, Linda Baker and Justin Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Hall (Michael) of Sunderland, Debra Horton (Chris) of Rutland, Donna Keys (Jack) of Manchester, Deanna Wilinbaker (Edward) of Vergennes, VT, Timothy Putnam of Sunderland, Dawn Steere (Corey) of Arlington and Terry Putnam of Sunderland; and her brothers, William Reed, Jr. and Gerald Reed. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 54 Legion Rd, Arlington, VT 05250.
