The family announces the passing of Andrew Rea of Ascutney, Vermont on September 21, 2026. Andrew, born on February 3, 1946 in Winchester, Massachusetts, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. Andrew will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Herbert and Rosamond Rea; wife: Carlene Eurbin; children: Jennifer Rea Amell (Gary), Matthew Eurbin Rea (Nicole), Kevin Mudgett Rea and Catherine Rea Royce (Craig); grandchildren: Joshua VanHise, Ashlee Little, Emily, Molly and Marin Rea, Andrew and Hanna Royce and Remy Rea; great grandchildren: Ella VanHise, Ace, Miles and Levi Little, Amelia Rea, Tucker and Liam Royce; brothers: David, John and Peter; as well as many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion (4 Court St, Windsor, VT 05089).
In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Legion Post 25, Friends of Veterans (fovvtnh.org) or a cause of your choice.
