He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Naess and Marian Naess (Stoddard). He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; and his children, Cynthia Duprey (Bill), Eric Naess (Stephanie) and Brian Naess (Sarah). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
