She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheldon Bruce and Marguerite Bruce (Cardi); her spouse Francis H. Smith; and her siblings, Sheldon (Lucile), James Bruce (Vicki), Dorothy Johnson (Everett) and Barbara Durkee (Malcolm).
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Leno (Tim) of Orange, Matthew Smith (Colette) of Orange and Steven Smith (Diane) of New Orleans, Louisiana.; and her grandchildren, Michelle Cummings (Charlie), Jonathan O'Brien (Stephanie), Christopher Smith (Abby), Sean Smith (Kimberly), Kimberlee Simpkinson (Eric), Robert Smith (Jaicee), Nichelle Smith, Nathan Smith and Wesley Smith (Meghan).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (224 Hersey Rd, Berlin, VT 05602).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodridge Life Enrichment program.
