He is survived by: his wife Linda Ruth Franks; his children, Jody Dwire (Matt), Jill Dunkling (Mark), Liza Fortin (Mark) and David Hedding, Jr. (Amanda); his grandchildren, Savannah Yates, Gabriel Dunkling and Joshua Dunkling; and his siblings, Allan, Michael, Denis, Timothy Hedding and Diane Smith.
