We are sad to announce that, on September 3, 2023, at the age of 94, Esther A. Lavin of Barre, Vermont passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Esther A. Lavin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Somaini and Luigia Somaini (Conti); her husband Laurence Lavin; and her siblings, Gino Somaini, Aldo Somaini, Rudolpho Somaini, Irvin Sironi, Rindo Sironi, Irma Coxon and Caroline Ferrari.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Lavin (Joanne) and Gary Lavin (Rena); and her grandchildren, Sherry Carr (Chuck), John LaBoudy, Sarah Rice (Diana), Karen Skoda (Justin), Natalie Soffen (Ken) and Joseph Lavin (Stephanie). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Woodridge Resident Activity Fund, 142 Woodridge Drive, Berlin, VT 05602.
